Contest Rules
The winner of WUMC’s AirPods contest will receive one Apple AirPods 4 valued at $129.00. The term “pair” refers to the left and right pieces in one AirPods 4 product.

The contest entry period is from Monday, February 23, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. through Friday, February 27, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. WUMC will open a 5-minute entry window each time it plays a song on-air from the local band Annabelle’s Curse.
To enter, entrants must call 423-461-8464 and provide their full legal name and phone number either to the WUMC staff member who answers the phone or by leaving a voice message. All phone numbers submitted must be the entrant’s own United States-based phone number. Entrants must call from a United States-based phone number.
Each entry window will be 5 minutes, starting when an Annabelle’s Curse song starts playing from the WUMC studio and ending 5 minutes after. Entry windows are only triggered when a full song is played on-air. The airing of partial Annabelle’s Curse songs in promos or station imaging do not trigger an entry window. Each person can only enter once per entry window. Entrants may not enter the contest under multiple names or phone numbers. Entrants may not use any automated means of entering the contest.
Due to the nature of internet streaming, WUMC’s internet stream may be delayed compared to the over-the-air broadcast on 90.5FM. Entrants listening via stream may be disadvantaged compared to entrants listening over-the-air.
Entries submitted outside of the entry windows or that do not contain the complete required info may be disqualified.
WUMC staff may hang up on callers after receiving the required entry information or if a caller does not give the required entry information when asked. WUMC is not responsible for telephone disconnects, reception issues, or any other problems that prevent an entrant from submitting their information to us or prevent us from receiving their entry.
All entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Current WUMC staff, work-study students, show hosts, the faculty advisor, and department chair are not eligible to enter. Winners of any WUMC contest between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 are not eligible to enter.
WUMC will randomly select a winner from all eligible contest entries. The winner will receive a call from 423-461-8464 between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026. If the winner does not answer the call immediately, a new winner will be selected. If no selected winners answer the call, WUMC reserves the right to use the prize for any purpose.
During the call where the winner is notified they have won, the winner must arrange a date and time with WUMC staff to accept the prize from WUMC’s studio at Paxson Communications Center 003, 300 Derthick Loop, Milligan, TN 37682. The time the winner selects must be before 5 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026. The winner must accept their prize by the date and time they select or they forfeit the prize. No other person may accept the prize on the winner’s behalf. The winner may be required to show a photo ID to accept the prize. The winner consents to WUMC photographing them with the prize. In the event the prize becomes unavailable, WUMC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

All entrants authorize WUMC to record any phone call or message between WUMC and the entrant. Entrants authorize WUMC to use phone calls and messages for any purpose including broadcast and station promotion. Entrants consent to the use of their name, face, voice, and likeness for any use by WUMC including promotion.
Entrants who fail to follow any of the contest rules may be disqualified.

Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. WUMC is not responsible for any issues with the prize. Winners are responsible for any taxes associated with the prize. By participating, entrants release WUMC, WUMC staff, and Milligan University from any and all liabilities associated with their participation in the contest.
In the event of a circumstance that prevents WUMC from conducting any part of the contest as planned, including but not limited to technical problems, bad weather, staffing issues, or the cancellation or delay of Milligan University classes, WUMC reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or change the terms of the contest.
WUMC reserves the right to change the contest rules at any point before or during the contest. Changes will be published at milliganradio.com/contest.
